ANAS AREMEYAW ANAS DOCUMENTARY ON GALAMSEY ECONOMY ON NOVEMBER 14,2022

 Ace award wining investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas is set to release a new expose after many years of of missing in action. 

The multiple award wining media personality has been out of action since 2020 after an expose on the coronavirus and matters arising.

However, in a Facebook post on Monday, 7 November, 2022, the journalist posted “Are you ready? To show or not to show ?I need the answers quickly so we can decide”.

His latest post sparks a lot of diverse comments  on twitter  especially at an era where there have been several corrupt allegations and other matters that are yet to be unraveled.

Anas Aremeyaw Anas has over the years released series of under cover works that exposes corrupt acts of leaders that have adversely affected the development of the country.

This is beyond the fact that tickets have been printed for the premiering of the video come November 14.

Galamseyers are people who perform illegal gold mining independent of mining companies, digging small working pits, tunnels, and sluices by hand. Galamsey is also referred to as Illegal Artisanal Small Mining.

The major cause of galamsey is unemployment among the youth in Ghana. The result is that these youth go the extra mile to earn a living for themselves and their family.

He utilizes his anonymity as a tool in his investigative journalism work.

This will be his 3rd investigate work on Galamsey, the 1st of which wasn’t released for reasons known to him.

The 2nd one exposed Charles Bissue of the presidency for his involvement in the Galamsey menace.

The nation awaits the latest one and what the state will do about it.
